Beneficial qualities.
- Witch Hazel... The predominant benefit of witch hazel is its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. It is used in cosmetic lotions and creams to lighten the skin, remove excess oil and dirt, and tighten facial skin. It is helpful to treat acne, psoriasis, and eczema. In addition, it is used extensively in after-shave lotions to heal shaving cuts. It is a natural remedy for insect bites, sunburn, puffy eyes, and itchy skin.
- Green Tea extract... Green Tea helps reduce skin redness, protects and rejuvenates skin, and can assist with refreshing skin after a long day in the sun.
- Peppermint Hydrosol... Peppermint offers a lovely cooling sensation and is great in summer or foot related products. It can increase circulation, act as a mild anti-septic and astringent, and can help with itching, although you want to keep it away from open wounds.
- Hydrolyzed Oat Protein... Helps retain and add moisture to the skin and adds softness. This skin care ingredient imparts a soft, cushiony feel on the skin, giving it a near-velvet smoothness after drying.
- Aloe Vera... Aloe vera is celebrated as a liquid for all occasions, being blessed with being soothing, anti-itching, burn and wound healing, and UV protecting qualities. Aloe vera is also considered anti-inflammatory, cell proliferating, and anti-bacterial. It's also considered very moisturizing and contains a humectant and an anti-oxidant.
